Lacey was our first champion.  She was born in 1992 in New Jersey.  She arrived in St. Clairsville in December of 1992.  Lacey had a mind of her own.  She definitely was the "Alpha Female."   Lacey finished her championship in 1995.   In 1996 she was bred to Tubbs and produced 3 puppies.  One of the three puppies is still living.  Rosie was 12 in February.

In 1998 we decided to breed Lacey to Chip, a  beautiful fawn male owned by Coleman Cook.  This litter produced 5 puppies.  One special male from the litter was kept to show.   He would be known as Burrwood's Roman Holiday.

Lacey led a very full life.  In early 2003 she developed cancer and in November of 2003 passed away at the age of 11.   It was a very sad day for us.
